Suggestions for help and where to seek help to ensure Farm Assurance scheme compliance would be most welcome
Hi @Steph that's a fantastic point that you have raised there. And I think that you have some expertise and experience with Red Tractor? I think that I would point to their website as the best resource https://redtractorassurance.org.uk/about-red-tractor/compliance/
Their standards are free to view here but I think that what you're specifically asking Steph, is where to get support to ensure compliance with those standards, right? Consultants are the best resource to help by firstly conducting a gap audit and then supporting where needed to meet those requirements. Let me know if you agree Steph :)

@Cathy Gladwin, Yes I was looking at ways to improve my pre-official-audit service for Fresh Produce.
About 4 years ago, I offered to help a client with their documentation and it has snowballed from there.
They are a small company with a big reach and found it difficult to stay on top of everything whilst being very hands-on with practical day-to-day farming.
We have achieved significant progress (from over 30 NC's 4 years ago down to 3 minor NC's on the last one in December) so they are very happy. But to me it's all about professional integrity and keeping at the forefront of the business.
I have learned so much but feel that there still so much more to understand and do.

We're all the same @Steph
There's always room to grow in any subject and learn more! It's a wonderful thing and good thing to know that "we don't know it all" :) @Chisala Ng'andwe actually said it last week - that our clients are the product experts, they know their products best. We support with safety and quality management systems and we're those "fresh eyes". It's the very basis on which your expertise helped to reduce those NC's for your clients.
