BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8 INTERNAL AUDITOR

COURSE OUTLINE

This two-day course will enable you to undertake internal audits and prepare companies for third party audits. It’s delivered via a series of workshop-led discussions, presentations and an interactive case study. During the live case study, you will be given feedback and support to enable you to carry out an audit at your own workplace.

You will be assessed throughout the course (50%) and you will also need to undertake a workplace audit and submit an audit report for assessment (50%). You will need to gain a 75% pass for this assessment.

BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8 LEAD AUDITOR

COURSE OUTLINE

This 5-day in-depth training course will provide an understanding of the Standard in terms of the protocol, requirements and how to audit effectively.

Delegates will also gain an in-depth guide to the requirements of the standard, and learn how to undertake a BRC audit, including effective planning, conducting and reporting of the audit. Auditing techniques will be practiced and developed, to include the auditor competency skills required of GFSI scheme auditors. Delegates must have a prior working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector, and have completed a HACCP course of at least 2 days duration.

Successful completion of this course, including the exam, forms part of the training necessary to become a BRC Global Standards auditor. The steps necessary to complete your training must be arranged with a BRC Global Standards-approved certification body.

BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8 SITES TRAINING

This two-day training course has been designed to enable delegates to gain a full understanding of the general principles of the Standard, and how to comply with the requirements. Delegates will also gain an understanding of what to expect during the process of certification, and actions needed prior to, during and after the audit.

This one-day course will provide delegates with a thorough understanding of root cause analysis (RCA) to know its importance and be able to perform it competently. This is especially helpful when implementing some of the requirements in the BRC Global Standards.

COURSE OUTLINE

This 2-day course addresses one of the key requirements of the BRC Global Standards for Product Safety Management: the adoption & implementation of a HACCP system.

The course programme reflects the requirements of the Standard with regard to the implementation of a HACCP system, and will introduce delegates to the BRC Global Standards requirements, quality systems, HACCP and the background to HACCP, BRC Global Standards and Codex.

This combined HACCP and Food Safety Level 4 course will give you a 2 in 1 qualification that is unique to STC. Other training providers only provide these as separate qualifications, however STC has challenged this practice since “you can’t know HACCP without food safety, and you can’t know food safety without HACCP!”.

We are very proud to offer this accredited qualification to those involved with any and all aspects in a food business relating to HACCP & Food Safety.

Holders of the qualification will have the knowledge necessary to be an integral part of a food business as well as part of Technical & Quality departments and HACCP team members, team leaders, consultants or trainers. The qualification is also suitable for those working in related industries, such as packaging, storage & distribution.
