Hi all,
So basically wondering what the take is on this, a site received a major NC due to clean down of allergens not completed so it was put on schedule for may, the bcr audit is next week but tests results wont be back in time but may was the schedule for the swabs, is that a repeated NC?

Based on the information provided, I personally wouldn’t view this as a repeat NC for the BRCGS audit, especially if the original major NC came from an internal audit rather than the previous certification audit.
If the corrective action was to add allergen swabbing to the May schedule and the site completed the swabs within that agreed timeframe, then they can demonstrate the action is being implemented. Even if the final lab results are not back yet, the auditor would usually expect to see evidence that the swabs were completed, samples were submitted to the lab, the schedule is being followed, and the action is actively being managed.

To me, this sounds more like an open corrective action rather than a repeat NC, unless the auditor finds the same failure still exists or there is no evidence the process has actually been implemented. I hope this helps. :)
