BRCGS Food Safety Issue 8 to 9 Conversion for Auditors | Onsite

- Issue 9 will be published in August 2022
- Certification against Issue 9 will commence in audits from 1 February 2023.
This 2-day training course has been designed to enable delegates to gain a full understanding of the changes between issue 8 and 9 relating to the general principles of the requirements of the Standard, including fundamental clauses and statements of intent, and how to undertake a BRCGS audit, including planning and reporting of the audit.
Delegates must have a working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector. Delegates should also have completed a HACCP course of at least two days duration.
This course is part of the BRC Global Standards Professional recognition programme.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Existing BRCGS Auditors (who already hold a Lead Assessor qualification but require training to the current version of the standard), consultants, technical & quality managers from sites who wish to hold an Auditor qualification for Issue 9 and gain an understanding of the BRCGS audit process and the related changes between issue 8 & 9.
PRIOR TO ATTENDING
It is a BRCGS requirement for all delegates to have:
✔ Downloaded and read a copy of the Global Standard before attending.
✔ Completed a HACCP course of at least two days duration.

- The BRCGS scheme
- The complete requirements of the Standard
- BRCGS auditing protocol
- Effective auditing techniques and completing the audit report
- Compliance monitoring of certification bodies

Note: it is possible to request a Certificate of Attendance if you prefer not to complete the assessment, however please notify us beforehand.
To receive a Certificate of Achievement, the following assessment must be completed.
- 50 Question Exam. Pass Mark 75%
