This course will provide delegates with an understanding of the key components of an environmental monitoring programme to identify potential microbiological risks in production and open product areas; in addition to explaining different sampling methods and key elements of a corrective action procedure.
KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Understand BRC requirements and key components of an environmental monitoring programme, including risk assessment, sampling location, target organisms, test methods, sample frequency, establishing control limits, appropriate corrective action, validation/ verification of the programme.
- Describe appropriate target organisms and identify suitable sampling locations
- Explain different sampling methods
- Explain appropriate corrective action for environmental monitoring failure

“What was your motivation to join this course? ” My motivation to join this course was to be able to elaborate an Environmental Monitoring Plan for the business I work. And to know more about the environment where I work and how can it be controlled, reaching our goal of producing safe food.
What did you enjoy most about the training? O like it everything about the course and Chisala, the tutor was very good in explaining by giving us as much information as he could. He answered to all our question.

What did you enjoy most about the training? Easy to ask questions, friendly atmosphere

the course was really helpful and enlightening. I learnt the a more detailed view into EMs and was able to learn from the tutors experience. Highly recommended. Only downside is that the website is not the easiest to navigate but my tutor was great and helped with everything
